I created this site when I was a Honda Sales and Leasing Consultant. My goal in doing so was to create a site that would provide anyone interested in buying or leasing a new or used Honda vehicle in the Quad Cities with a convenient resource for information, and to provide a means for those customers to contact me directly.

Shortly after publishing the site, I made a career change, therefore I am no longer in the automotive retail business. That being the case, I no longer need this site for my own use, and I am offering it for sale to anyone who sells Honda Vehicles in the Quad Cities. The site can be easily modified to the individual, and to the dealership where the sales person is employed. Since I was employed by Lujack Honda, that is already in place, but the graphics and text can be easily converted to Zimmerman Honda if necessary.

The site features current finance offers from Honda and from the dealership. These are stored in a MySQL database, and are managed via an admin control panel that I developed for site content management. All specials can be defined with a start and end date. The script that displays them checks for valid dates, therefore on the date when the programs change, the salesperson doesn't have to scramble to remove advertisements with outdated information. I also coded an RSS feed that contains current special finance and lease offers. This way the customer can capture the feed in order to stay in touch with any program changes.

The site runs on a PHP/MySQL backend. The presentation is W3C XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.1 valid.
