I designed this site to enhance my business as a car salesman. It is a guide to help anyone who is interested in buying a vehicle make sense of the multitude of information available, and to be a better informed consumer. I use this site to present myself to the public, and I use it as a way to educate customers who come into the dealership where I work. The text of the articles on the site is really the same thing that I discuss with customers every day; having this information available to them on the internet not only reinforces what I say, but also provides a good reference for my customers after they leave.

The site has been through several changes as my skill as a web developer has improved. Currently, the architecture is PHP and MySQL. I wrote a series of PHP scripts that assemble the pages from modular content using a single template. There are several functions in the site such as a fuel savings calculator and a vehicle mileage guide that use a MySQL database containing EPA fuel mileage estimate data that I downloaded from the EPA website.

I have updated the markup to validate according to W3C XHTML 1.0 Strict, and CSS 2.1 standards.
